MAXINE DAVIES

Maxine Davies is a Digital Animation Graduate of BCIT in Burnaby. She previously studied Traditional Art at the University of the Fraser Valley. Starting from a young age Maxine was heavily influenced when it came to animation. From Disney, Pixar to Studio Ghibli, Maxine was fascinated with creating such work herself one day. As a child she always had pencil or a paintbrush with her. As she got older her skills developed and became more defined, and she is now working towards becoming an Animator.

Maxine's art skills include drawing, painting, sculpting, Photoshop, and photography. Although she is new to Digital Animation she is no stranger to animation or computers. Using her skills as a traditional artist and her previous studies in 2D animation, she brings a new perspective to Digital Animation.
